June 3: A release date has just come through for Neon Inferno, the upcoming 2D run-and-gun and gallery-shooter. It’s due out for Nintendo Switch on October 2, 2025.
We previously heard about the project earlier in the year when it had a Q3 2025 launch window. Remember that it comes from Zenovia Interactive, the team behind Steel Assault.

Toxic Crusaders release date confirmed for Nintendo Switch, new trailer

Thanks to Retroware, we now have the final release date Toxic Crusaders. It’ll be out for Nintendo Switch on December 4, 2025.
Toxic Crusaders, a side-scrolling beat ’em up game was announced for Nintendo Switch in March 2023. Originally it was planned to launch that year.

Iron Meat has announced a new update, which is highlighted by Arcade, Boss Rush, and Mutation modes. Nintendo Switch should be getting the patch soon.
Arcade, Boss Rush, and Mutation change up how players can experience the meat-and-metal run-and-gun shooter. That’s not the only new content though, as two new weapons and the new wall-crawing zombies have been added as well.

Retroware will be publishing Neon Inferno for Nintendo Switch, the studio confirmed today. A release is planned for Q3 2025.
Neon Inferno offers a mix of 2D run-and-gun and gallery-shooter gameplay. Zenovia Interactive, the studio behind Steel Assault, is handling development.

Today, publisher Retroware and developer Mega Cat Studios revealed Angry Video Game Nerd 8-bit. The game will launch for Nintendo Switch in Q2 2025. A NES version is also planned.
Angry Video Game Nerd 8-bit is a side-scrolling action platformer. Players will “battle through frantic platforming levels, defeat classic AVGN bosses, and save all of gaming from a corrupted monstrosity.”

Iron Meat receives first major content update, patch notes

Retroware recently started distribution of a major update for Iron Meat. Players are now able to access a new wave of content.
One of the primary additions is Mirror Mode, which lets players experience every level with the x-axis flipped – meaning they’ll be running to the left. There’s also the Supercharge rapid fire power-up after obtaining a third copy of a weapon upgrade, visual changes to the background on certain levels, and more.

Iron Meat release date set for September, physical release confirmed

Today, Retroware announced the final release date for Iron Meat. The game launches on September 25, 2024.
Strictly Limited Games also revealed that it’s teaming up with Retroware on a physical release of Iron Meat for Switch. The boxed versions are also slated for September 25, 2024.
Strictly Limited Games will be sharing all of the details later. However, the company says it will produce the only physical versions of the game worldwide.

Toxic Crusaders planned for Switch physical release

According to Limited Run Games, the company is planning a physical release of Toxic Crusaders. It’ll be going live on the company’s website later in 2024.
Toxic Crusaders has still yet to launch in any form. The title is currently targeting its arrival for 2024, though more specific timing hasn’t been shared.
