Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris has received a final release date on Switch in North America and Europe. The game will be out on September 30, 2022, according to an eShop listing.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris now has a release date on Switch – at least in Japan. Bandai Namco has confirmed that the title is due out on September 29, 2022.
A Switch version of Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris was revealed at Anime Expo earlier this month. It was not given a release window at the time, with Bandai Namco only stating that it’s “coming soon”.

Following speculation earlier this week about a potential Switch port of Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris, the news has been made official. Bandai Namco revealed the news at Anime Expo 2022 today.
The game includes the first four “Ancient Apostles” free updates. Additional free/paid DLC is also said to be arriving later.

EB Games Australia issued a marketing email to consumers earlier today regarding news shared from this week’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase. However, Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris was included despite not being announced for the platform.
