Legend Bowl release date

Thanks to Top Hat Studios and Super Pixel Games, we have a release date for Legend Bowl. The game will be out for Switch on August 9, 2023.

Legend Bowl, which was announced for Switch last month, is a pixel art football game. We were last given a Summer 2023 release window.

Athenian Rhapsody

Today, publisher Top Hat Studios and developer Nico Papalia announced Athenian Rhapsody for Switch. The title is slated for later in 2023.

Athenian Rhapsody is a comedic, turn-based RPG with real-time-dodging. Further details can be found in the following overview:

Velocity Noodle trailer

Top Hat Studios and Shotgun Anaconda have shared a launch trailer for Velocity Noodle. The game, a 2D platformer, recently joined the Switch eShop.

Velocity Noodle

Top Hat Studios, along with Shotgun Anaconda, announced today that they’re bringing Velocity Noodle to Switch. It’ll be out on April 27, 2023.

Velocity Noodle is a 2D platformer with deadly traps and a range of moves to master. While it previously appeared on PC, the console version features new content including new level packs, artwork updates, and quality of life upgrades.

Frogun Encore

Publisher Top Hat Studios and developer Molegato just announced Frogun Encore, a follow up to last year’s game. Platforms haven’t been confirmed, but the original Frogun previously came to Switch.

Frogun Encore is another retro throw-back platformer that builds upon the previous entry. It’s a standalone release, meaning you don’t need to have played the previous game to enjoy this one.

Sang: The Desert Blade

Sang: The Desert Blade has been confirmed for Switch thanks to its success on Kickstarter. During the campaign, over $60,000 was raised. That’s despite the fact that Fiskyfisko was only seeking about $13,000.

In the game, players will follow Sang who is looking for her long lost kin. As a Blood Seer, she’s able to see world ending events as well as her own demise. At one point she wakes up from one of her visions and herself in Meziskal, a long lost town of distant dreams. Sang will look to figure what happened to outer world and her kin.

The Lost and The Wicked

Top Hat Studios has announced a partnership with Isaac Torres to publish The Lost and The Wicked, a “twin-stick psycho-thriller”. The game will launch on Switch in 2023.

The Lost and The Wicked picks up following a shipwreck in which the main character wake up in a wicked world with no memory of who he is. Players will learn about the past and how they ended up there while battling enemies along the way.

Top Hat Studios and Squiddershins have prepared a launch trailer for Kaichu: The Kaiju Dating Sim. This week, the game made it to Switch.

Paper Animal RPG

Paper Animal RPG landed on Kickstarter this week, and has already secured full funding having surpassed its goal of roughly $40,000. In the process, a Switch version has been confirmed.
