Test Your Mind hitting the European Wii U eShop on December 15
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Test Your Mind previously released on the North American Wii U eShop last November. In Europe, XenoHorizon is now bringing it out on December 15. The game will cost €1.99.
For those who need a recap, here’s a trailer and overview:
“Trick questions, puzzles, tests of memory, and more! This game full of mini-games will test your ability to think outside the box and use the Wii U™ GamePad to solve various problems. Rules come and go as they please and it’s up to you to decipher the solutions to the problems… and maybe even what it’s asking in the first place! If you manage to pass the test (don’t worry, it’s fair), have a friend or family member try it and you might struggle to hold in your laughter as THEY struggle to figure out what they’re doing! When you’ve figured out all the problems, play a fast-paced memory game in local multiplayer and see who can win a battle of brains. Just don’t hurt your mind—we only want to test it!”

Test Your Mind hitting the North American Wii U eShop on November 12
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 3 Comments
Indie developer XenoHorizon has a new game lined up for the Wii U eShop. “Test Your Might” is scheduled for November 12 in North America.
Here’s the official overview:
– Three sets of questions/problems to get your brain working. Analyze, memorize, and think outside the box!
– Starts off easy with Mind Breeze, but gets harder in Mind Tease and even harder in Mind Burst. However, all problems are unlocked from the start!
– Stress-free test: you can take a break or skip questions, and your final grade won’t go on a report card.
– Great to share with friends and family—tackle the questions together or watch someone else play and have a good laugh!
– Local 2-Player mini-game Memory Wars lets you pit your memory against someone else in a simple, speedy fashion, with silly quotes and faces to go along with it. (Requires Wii U Pro Controller)Test Your Mind was designed to be a quick, fun blast of joy you can share with others. We want you to think “wow, that’s not what I expected†or “that’s kind of silly†or… well, something. Think something because we want you to think! That’s what the game is for. We kind of hope you get stuck (for a short while, anyway) or else our problems probably weren’t hard enough. If you are satisfied with the end result, the best thing you could do for us and maybe yourself would be to share it—I mean, fun is one of those things where when you share it, it increases, not decreases, right? We hope so, anyway.

Arrow Time U update out now, XenoHorizon planning another Wii U game
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Arrow Time U has received an update. If it doesn’t appear when booting up, you may need to delete the game entirely and re-download from the eShop.
“Despite poor sales”, developer XenoHorizon pushed forward with the update, as the studio didn’t want to go back on its word.
XenoHorizon is taking what it learned with Arrow Time U and applying it to future projects. Speaking of which, it sounds like the indie developer has another title lined up for Wii U.
The ATU update is finally out. You may have to delete it and re-download it from the #eShop to update.
— XenoHorizon (@XenoHorizon) January 9, 2015
Despite poor sales we said we'd put out the update and we did since we don't like going back on our word. But it's time to move on now.
— XenoHorizon (@XenoHorizon) January 9, 2015
ATU's not one of the better games on the #eShop but we think it's a better investment now to use what we learned on our future games.
— XenoHorizon (@XenoHorizon) January 9, 2015
Thank you for your understanding and you'll hear from us again when we announce our next #WiiU exclusive in a few months, if not sooner!

XenoHorizon developing Arrow Time U for the Wii U eShop
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Indie developer XenoHorizon has announced its first title “Arrow Time U” for the Wii U eShop. The game, which will launch later this year, is a puzzle/maze experience in which players guide a blue arrow through various levels.
Arrow Time U will offer the following features:
Forty hand-crafted levels for quick fun you can pick up at any time.
Replay any level you’ve unlocked at any time and aim to beat your high score!
Move through any object and render yourself invincible with the “phase through” ability–but use it wisely, because your power is limited!
Slow down time with the “time alter” ability.
Take down bosses without even attacking them.
Use advanced techniques like the lateral shift, speed boost, and phase timing to exploit the game’s mechanics to their fullest!
We’re told that an Indiegogo campaign will likely be created for Arrow Time U. When it goes live, the goal will be set at about $800 or so.
Screenshots from Arrow Time U can be found above. Note that the images are of development, do not represent the final product, and are subject to change at any time.
