Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada was determined to maintain 60 FPS in Tekken 3D: Prime Edition. The development team was able to accomplish this, but it came at a price.

In an Iwata Asks interview, Harada said that 3D display won’t work during wireless play.

He said:

“In Tekken 3D: Prime Edition, the game supports 60 frames per second during wireless play, but stereoscopic 3D display is not supported.”
