The Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim Switch 2 vs. Switch comparison

A new video has dropped offering a graphics comparison for the Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch versions of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

The RPG came to the new Nintendo console yesterday following a surprise announcement. There are certainly upgrades, but there are some disappointments as well.

First, let’s get this out of the way: The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is still 30 frames per second on Nintendo Switch 2. Many were hoping it’d bump up to 30 FPS, but that didn’t end up happening. We’ve also seen reports of input lag on Nintendo Switch 2, which will hopefully be addressed with a patch.

Although these aspects are disappointing, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim does feature various upgrades. The game sports improvements in all graphical settings, highlighting the level of detail, texturing, shadows, and lighting. That’s along with a higher resolution.
