The Jackbox Party Starter to release this summer

Jackbox Games today announced The Jackbox Party Starter, “a collection of three previously released, yet newly updated games from our roster that are sure to be a hit at any party, event, or game night.”
This release will be of particular interest to those that haven’t experienced the series before. Some aren’t sure where to start, which is what Jackbox Games is looking to address here.
While the titles included in The Jackbox Party Starter previously supported English, we’ll now see French, Italian, Spanish, and German added to the mix. Quiplash 2 InterLASHional, and Drawful 2 already support these languages, but the team is “exploring more ways to share the games that we love with a broader audience.”
There’s still more to learn about The Jackbox Party Starter, including which the exact games that will be included. For now, Jackbox Games says that a release is planned for Summer 2022, with more information to follow in the future.
Note that we’re still waiting on official confirmation of platforms. Given the franchise’s history though, a Switch launch seems all but assured. The Jackbox Party Pack 9 was also recently announced and will probably end up on the console this fall.
