The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon demo just released on Nintendo Switch 2, Switch

Heads up for The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon fans: a demo has just gone live on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. It can be downloaded from their respective pages on the Nintendo eShop.

NIS America says that this is a story demo, offering the opening of the game. NIS America is also providing a battle demo on PlayStation platforms, but for whatever reason, this seems to be skipping Nintendo systems. On the bright side, progress made in the demo can be transferred to the full release after installing a day one patch.

The prophesied end of the Zemurian continent draws near, and so does the launch of humanity’s first foray into space. A sudden invitation from Marduk to cooperate in a high-tech training exercise sets Van Arkride, Ashen Chevalier Rean Schwarzer, and Father Kevin Graham on a collision course with the secrets at the very core of Zemuria.

Their paths may diverge, but the ultimate question remains the same: Just what lies beyond the edge of the horizon?
