The Super Mario Bros. Movie will have a post-credits scene

When The Super Mario Bros. Movie releases next week, viewers can look forward to a post-credits scene. Chris Pratt, the actor who voices Mario in the movie, confirmed as such in an interview with CBR.
Post-credits scenes are all the rage these days, and sometimes tease what could come next. It turns out that The Super Mario Bros. Movie will follow that tradition. Pratt indicated that the scene “gives you a taste of what the sequel could be about.”
Pratt’s full words:
“Listen, there’s like, at the end of the film, there’s a post-credit sequence that gives you a taste of what the sequel could be about. And that gets me very, very excited.”
The cast of The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been pretty vocal about what they’d like to see in the future. Pratt has mentioned the possibility of “an entire universe of these types of movies” while Donkey Kong voice actor Seth Rogen sounds up for a Donkey Kong film and Luigi voice actor Charlie Day wants a Luigi’s Mansion movie.
