Thunder Dragon 2 is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch

Hamster has announced that vertical shoot-’em-um Thunder Dragon 2 is the latest classic arcade title to arrive on the Switch eShop through its Arcade Archives label. Here are some details on the game, courtesy of the International Arcade Museum:
Thunder Dragon 2 is a direct followup to vertical shoot-’em-up Thunder Dragon. The sequel was produced for arcades by NMK in 1993. Like the original, the gameplay involves flying through stages attacking enemy aircraft and mechs with an airplane. The original arcade cabinet for Thunder Dragon 2 allowed for both singleplayer and for two players to play together simultaneously.
Arcade Archives Thunder Dragon 2 is schedules to become available digitially on the Switch eShop tomorrow on February 10. It will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.
