Video: Metroid Prime 4 Nintendo Switch 2 vs. Switch comparison
A new comparison video is now available for the Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch versions of Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
Both are pretty similar. However, Nintendo Switch 2 has advantages with frame rate and resolution. When playing on the new platform, you can experience up to 120 FPS and up to 4K resolution. As previously mentioned, there are Performance and Quality Modes.
Another benefit for Nintendo Switch 2 players concerns loading times. On that system, loading is cut down significantly. You may see that it’s up to five times quicker on Nintendo Switch 2.
Looking purely at graphics, you won’t see much of a step down if playing on Nintendo Switch 1. The rendering resolution and resolution of some textures and shadows are where the main differences come in.
