Ys X: Nordics releasing worldwide this October, release date trailer, special editions revealed

Falcom and NIS America are presenting at this year’s Anime Expo and have taken the opportunity to announce the worldwide release date for Ys X: Nordics, the latest game in the long-running Ys series. The game will release in the West on October 25, 2024, about a month after its Japanese release.

During the same presentation, a few special editions of the game were also revealed. A Deluxe Edition is available for pre-order at all major retailers, while a Limited Edition is available to pre-order on NIS America’s official site here.

Following their tenuous encounter at sea, the young red-haired adventurer Adol Christin and the proud pirate Karja Balta find themselves bound by fate – and the mysterious power of Mana! As they search for a way to undo the mystical ties that bind them, they soon find themselves caught up in a conflict between two factions: the seafaring warriors known as the Normans and the enigmatic and seemingly immortal Griegers. In order to save the people of Obelia Gulf, Adol and Karja must navigate the depths of their unexpected bond and the power that it grants them.

The Deluxe Edition of Ys X: Nordics features a physical edition of the game itself, a Digital Soundtrack, and a Mini Art Book. The Limited Edition contains all items featured in the Deluxe Edition, as well as a Collector’s Box, full Art Book, Digipak Original Mini Soundtrack, Metal Pin, Postcard Set, and a Sling Bag.
