What a bunch of *crap*. Literally the worst program, ever. HEY LISTEN UP: Coupons for old games are ~not~ rewards!

    • Andrew

What JJ said. Good grief these just don’t stop being pathetic.

People who wanted these games probably already own them by now…

    • Fernando Silva

I have both Golden Sun on cartridge. Would be good to have also digital…

God, Nintendo is so f*cking stupid, anymore! The current CEO is ruining Nintendo! Get someone else, instead!

      • Carlos

Having a bad reward program is ruining Nintendo? The Switch says hello.

        • Blake Good

          No.

          • ChuckyGuy98

Why are you complaining now Blake? I thought you loved old games! Now you are just finding a reason to complain, then again it is YOU I am talking about. For real, do you want me to buy you some tampons? Because your mother forgot to buy some for you.

      • Blake Good

Guys, ignore this person. He has been imitating me and making me look bad here on Disqus. I just figured out their was an impostor account of me here, you better stop it impostor before I report you!

    • ShadowFalls

Not just that, many of these were on there already. Kind of surprised with the release of Gold and Silver they didn’t do something for Pokemon.

  • SomeFluffer64

    Why not more free Nindies?

    On Switch even?

  • Blackbishop

I was planning to buy Brain Age: Concentration Training so I guess this will help… now I need to have gold points so I can get that discount XD…

  • JasonBall

The Xenoblade discount was gone for a day but is now back. So dumb. Not that it matters, I got it 15 Perce toff from this same rewards program last year.

  • Adrian Brown

I’d ratter have exclusive themes, DLC or the infamous GBA ambassador games than discount on games that, if I cared about them, I’d already have.

  • Jaxon Holden

Even ignoring the fact discounts are a bogus reward, much more being the MAIN reward, 3DS and Wii U are old news. Where’s the Switch rewards?

  • Zeebor

TIL Sin and Punishment is on Wii U virtual console

  • Good gawd, at least let us spend more points to get stuff for free. Platinums are literally only useful for FE Heroes these days

  • Dunnington

“Spend $120 to earn enough points to get $16 off of a remade game”

Boy oh boy oh boy, thanks Nintendo!

  • TimG57867

Why is MyNintendo still an inferior service to Club Nintendo? Club Nintendo at least gave you an ENTIRE game for free. Good lord…

    • ShadowFalls

Not to mention physical rewards. If you don’t have a Wii U, you only get a handful too. Should just be able to spend my coins and buy wallet credit.

    • There are four games for free on there
Runner 2, Art of Balance, Zen Pinball and Super Little Acorns

On one hand I am pleased to see SOMETHING is free. On the other hand, I see that they take Gold Coins and Club Nintendo gave you almost equal points regardless of digital or retail purchase. Also, taking another look at the rewards, I find many games being discounted that by all logic should be free based on what’s currently free and what Club Nintendo gave for free. I mean why is Kersploosh only discounted while Art Balance can be free. Everything just seems off…

        • yeah like I got Metroid for free on CN
          and Dillons western
          and Metroid 2
          and kersploosh

          • Aline Piroutek

My free games from CN(to remember the good times):
Metroid II, Super Metroid, Super Mario World, Majora’s Mask, Tetris(it was live only once in CN), Wario Land II, Sakura Samurai, Wii Fit U and W101.
            Such good times Uncle Phil.

          • wario land 2 was my favorite. i had no idea i’d like that game so much.

    • R.Z.

Physical rewards, that’s what I want.
Their discounts are laughable but T-shirts are always neat.

  • Imparcial

Nintendo, please fix your reward system. Discounts are fine and all, but they should not be rewards for already buying your games. The old reward system at least let you redeem a FREE game (and no, I’m not counting old third party indie games as a good reward either). It’s very simple to fix the reward system:

Platinum coin: easy to obtain (play games, check eshop, view emails, and recently you can buy cereal for them), so if you collect enough they should give you games at a discount between 20-40% depending on the game. You should also make it the place to redeem a lot of the animated shorts of our games (Kirby, Yoshi, Kid Icarus)

Gold rewards: Free games/themes/DLC. No, you won’t be able to get a game like breath of the wild, but small games like the ones in the arcade archives or whenever the virtual console releases would be GREAT rewards for those who already purchase your upcoming games. Another cool thing would be to put already existing DLC of your games and more 3ds themes into the reward system as cheaper alternatives to gold points.

Finally, GIVE US SWITCH REWARDS: switch owners have coins expiring, it’s unfair to treat your loyal audience as secondary and thus should release some form of rewards for switch owners who are done with the wii u/3ds. They don’t even have to be big to begin with, just make them discounts to smaller switch games like snipperclips or themes (if the switch is getting themes down the line)

Nintendo is hoping to Wii Sports Club DLC become a great sucess. That’s why they don’t give us.
