Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition soundtracks seeing official release
Procyon Studio has announced extensive plans for the Xenoblade Chronicles soundtracks, with Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition now confirmed to be seeing official releases.
The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Original Soundtrack is due out on August 2, 2023. It contains over 140 tracks, clocking in at roughly nine hours.
A limited edition version will be arriving just a bit earlier on July 29. All copies include two 1/3 scale mini replicas of the flutes used when recording the music – specifically Noah’s flute and Mio’s flute. Fans will also receive a card featuring Masatsugu Saito’s new illustration with printed signatures of the composers on the back side, and an 80-page booklet (note that this is mostly in Japanese).
There are also plans for the Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition Original Soundtrack, which is slated for August 2, 2023. First-print copies will include a bonus reversible jacket.
Finally, the Xenoblade Chronicles Original Soundtrack Trinity Box is planned for 2023. It contains over 350 tracks from Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Also included is a 56-page booklet featuring messages by the Xenoblade Chronicles series’ executive director Tetsuya Takahashi and main composers Yasunori Mitsuda, ACE (TOMOri Kudo, CHiCO), Kenji Hiramatsu, and Manami Kiyota. Fans will be happy to hear that the messages are also in English.
