My Time at Sandrock gets 1.4 update, “Love Chronicles” DLC, demo
A massive 1.4 update has just gone live for My Time at Sandrock, along with new Love Chronicles DLC and a demo.
The update includes post-marriage quests for Justice, Owen, Grace, Qi, Logan, Amirah, Fang, Mi-an, Nia, and Unsuur plus new a brand-new romance quest and a follow-up quest related to Miguel, exclusive Kickstarter backer content, and more.
The “Love Chronicles” DLC for My Time at Sandrock includes new romance quests for Mi-an, Nia, Fang, and Logan. Two Chronicles quests will be available as well along with the voice recordings feature.
As for today’s update, here’s the full rundown:
My Time at Sandrock update version 1.4 patch notes
- Added a post-marriage quest for each of the following characters: Justice, Owen, Grace, Qi, Logan, Amirah, Fang, Mi-an, Nia, and Unsuur, which can be triggered after marriage.
- Added a new romance quest for Owen, available for players whose relationship with him has reached boyfriend/girlfriend status or higher
- Added a follow-up quest related to Miguel, which can only be triggered after completing his main storyline quests.
- Added a Kickstarter backer-designed quest, available once your relationship with Qi and Hugo reaches friend level or higher, and after completing the quest “Paradise Lost and Found
- Added two Kickstarter backer designed monsters from the crowdfunding campaign.
- Added a bus system that will start running from Portia once the tunnel connecting Portia is completed.
- Added new floor decorations, which can be purchased at the Construction Junction Shop
- Added a feature in home editing mode that lets you place multiple pieces of furniture at once by holding down a button.
- Added a retrieval mode in home editing that allows you to quickly collect furniture.
- Added an option to toggle the carrying interaction, which can be turned on or off in the selection settings of home editing mode.
- Optimized the Fish King respawn system, allowing Fish King to spawn even if the sandfishing pond is full.
- Optimized character poses during group photos to fix clipping issues.
- Optimized NPC behavior after marriage, making it easier to trigger hand-holding interactions.
- Optimized weapon and gear refinement, allowing refinement up to 10 levels above the player’s current level, with a maximum of level 100.
- Optimized the daily behavior of Daisy the Giant Duck.
- Optimized Logan’s outfit options by adding a no-hat version.
- Optimized the granite in the Northern Plateau, upgrading it to high-quality granite.
- Optimized Amirah’s shop location by moving it to just outside her house.
- Optimized home decoration items by adding DLC labels to wallpapers and flooring in the DLC packs.
- Optimized certain controller functions for smoother UI navigation.
- Optimized the quest ‘Made in the Shade,’ so Arvio and Amirah now rest on beach chairs after its completion.
- Optimized the objectives and descriptions for the quest “Spread Your Wings”
- Optimized the quest “Duvos Attacks!” by adding a buff that prevents stamina from being consumed.
- Fixed a bug where Logan and Jane wouldn’t greet the player when in a romantic relationship.
- Fixed an issue where jealousy wasn’t triggered during parties.
- Fixed inappropriate news articles appearing in the newspaper.
- Fixed incorrect data and confusing text in the summary report, such as workshop rankings, recipes learned, and items crafted.
- Fixed an issue where cutting down a Ball Cactus would cause townspeople to criticize the player.
- Fixed a potential game freeze during the Sand Buggy Circuit.
- Fixed Logan’s left shoulder model stretching incorrectly.
- Fixed a game freeze issue during the Showdown at High Noon t if an NPC couldn’t participate.
- Fixed a bug where feeding Greeno to Rambo would change it to Merle. This item should not be feedable.
- Fixed a problem where saving during an event triggered by sleeping could result in a failed save.
- Fixed a bug in the Japanese version where some post-marriage dialogues didn’t display the required items.
- Fixed certain tasks that weren’t properly ending behaviors in specific situations.
- Fixed an issue in the “What’s Mine is Yours” quest where talking to Ged could freeze the game.
- Fixed a bug in the “Watching Paint Dry” quest that prevented it from being completed.
- Fixed unnecessary quest markers in the “Mission Unpossible” quest.
- Fixed a bug in the “Away from It All” quest where Elsie could go missing after entering the cave.
- Fixed a camera issue in the “The Inspector” quest.
- Fixed a bug in the “Operation De-Geeglate” quest where the game behaved abnormally after saving and loading.
- Fixed a bug in the “Quali-tea over Quanti-tea” quest where Qi wasn’t being teleported correctly, causing a progression issue.
- Fixed an issue after the “Gone with the Wind” quest where the old photo drop wasn’t functioning correctly.
- Fixed an issue where Elsie’s behavior might be abnormal after completing the quest “Away from It All.”
- Fixed an issue where the quest “Catori World” might not trigger.
- Fixed an issue where trash would still spawn by the Oasis after completing the quest “Pitching In.”
- Fixed an issue where the player’s actions might become uncontrollable after triggering a cutscene at the clinic following the completion of the quest “Relapse.”
- Fixed an issue where Logan would not perform assigned tasks after marriage.
- Fixed an issue where the game could freeze when riding the carousel with more than five followers.
- Fixed an issue where certain crop abnormalities during planting could cause the game to freeze.
- Fixed an issue where Fang’s positioning during the grave visit was not as expected.
- Fixed an issue with Penny’s incorrect avatar.
- Fixed an issue where Logan’s eyes appeared abnormal during the child adoption cutscene.
- Fixed the text description for exiting the bonfire dance, which was previously incorrect.
- Fixed an issue where Logan and Jane didn’t have voice lines when greeting each other after becoming romantically involved.
- Fixed an issue where Lupita did not have a sitting animation.
- Fixed an issue where Owen did not correctly exit his behavior after a group conversation.
- Fixed an issue where players could not leave Logan’s house after entering.
- Fixed an issue where there was overlapping positioning when taking photos with Catori.
- Fixed an issue where EXP. were still shown after the player reached max level.
- Fixed the abnormal line spacing when using Traditional Chinese language settings
- Fixed a visual gap at the bottom of the Majestic Style Room.
