Disney’s Spectrobes has seen two iterations on the DS, but now the series is moving to the Wii.
Spectrobes: Origins is being described as the game’s “big system” debut and will arrive in the fall.

As is the case with most Wii games, Origins will take advantage of the Wii remote. Gamers can expect gameplay elements from the previous two Spectrobes games which include digging up fossils and battling in real-time. One big change, however, is that Genki is developing Origins – not Jupiter, who created the first two games on the DS. Genki is mostly known for racing designs.

In October of 2008, a trademark for Rabbids Go Home popped up. The thing is, no one really knew what it was for sure. Now new information points to Rabbids Go Home as being a Wii title, and most likely another entry in the Rabbids series. The news comes from the résumé of programmer Julien Delezenne, who has apparently been working on the “Engine and Tools on the LyN technology” behind the game. The information has since been pulled though.

It may also be interesting to note that Delezenne also develops techonology for Beyond Good & Evil 2 for the 360 and PS3. Perhaps there is a connection behind the techonology of the two games?

With its new thin and sleek design, the Nintendo DSi includes an SD card slot and bigger LCD screens. The two built in cameras for the Nintendo DSi Camera application allows customers to manipulate, then share, their photos, while the interactive voice recorder and music player for the Nintendo DSi Sound application will allow customers to play with their music while they listen to it. The catalog of more than 850 Nintendo DS games is also compatible with the Nintendo DSi.

This shouldn’t be too surprising, but at least this does seem to show that there will be a few DSiWare titles available at launch. I’m sure North America will also receives news about DSiWare in the coming weeks.
