Monster Hunter 3 devs “looking into” WiiSpeak support

This information comes from an interview with Capcom Producer Ryozo Tsjmoto
“We’re looking into a bunch a different things and one of the things is definitely like, a lot of users have asked for voice chat. We’re looking into right now whether it’s technically possible or not. And so if it is, maybe we’ll make an announcement. If it isn’t, you know, if it realistically can’t be done, then I’m sorry we may have to leave it out. But we’re looking into it.”
It’s been clear for awhile now that Capcom is hoping to include WiiSpeak support for Monster Hunter 3. I’m not too sure what would hold back its inclusion, though. I do hope we see it in there!

Jump on the Wii Balance Board™ For Cool Family Fun!
SANTA MONICA, CA – October 2, 2009 – Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) today announced the October 27 release of Mountain Sports, six winter games developed only for Wii™. Developed by premier Austrian developer Sproing, Mountain Sports lets gamers of all ages slip, slide and shred their way to victory using the Wii Balance Board™ accessory and/or classic Wii Remote™ controls.
Mountain Sports includes a variety of thrilling high-impact outdoor activities: skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing/tubing, bobsledding, curling and the biathlon. All of the sports except curling give players the option to hop on the Wii Balance Board™ for intuitive fun, carving up the slopes as they strive to become the Winter Sports Festival champion. Sit on the board to navigate the slippery bobsled course, or turn the board sideways and go for big air on the slopestyle snowboarding event! Players can also choose to use the Wii Remote to outmaneuver and blast past the competition, using full-body motion. The game is both intuitive and fun, and with four-player support, everyone can get in on the frosty action.

XSEED Games Announces October 13th Ship Date for JU-ON: The Grudge
Posted on 16 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 0 comments
Just in time for Halloween, XSEED Games has been holding a grudge on Wii™ owners and has vowed to make amends starting October 13th. JU-ON: The Grudge, a haunted house simulator developed by feelplus, immerses players in a number of mysterious and eerie locales shrouded in utter darkness.
Armed with only a flashlight, players’ safety depends on thorough exploration of cursed surroundings, including an abandoned warehouse and a decrepit hospital. Move quickly, because as your batteries drain and the darkness closes in around you, it becomes explicitly clear that something far more sinister than rats is lurking behind you.
