Miitomo – new Miitomo Drop stage and items (2/24/17)

Miitomo has been updated with more content. Users will find a new stage, along with some brand new items.
“Loud and in your face! Decourageous Fashion #2” is the new stage. It includes the following:
– Mischievous monster hood
– Mischievous monster top
– Lots o’ monsters tee
– Monster staring contest shoes
And as far as the new items go, you can nab the following:
– Wellington glasses
– Bomber jacket with crest
– Ripped jeans with lace patches
– Double-strip high-tops
– Butterflies

Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibo functionality shown off, other amiibo compatible

Five new amiibo from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launch on March 3. On its Japanese blog, Nintendo finally provided an official look at the functionality.
Here’s the rundown:
– Link (Archer): get items like meat and fish, and also bow and arrows
– Link (Rider): get mushrooms and weapons, horse tools
– Zelda: get plants and shields
– Bokoblin: get meat and weapons
– Guardian: get ancient materials (players must see for themselves what these do in game)
Tapping amiibo from the Smash Bros. line of Zelda amiibo will reward special items from treasure chests. Tapping any other amiibo will result in materials like meat and fruits.
Each amiibo can be scanned once per day. Images of the Zelda: Breath of the Wild unlocks are posted below.
Fire Emblem Heroes adding Inherit Skill in March

Nintendo has just put out a notice about another new feature on the way to Fire Emblem Heroes in March. With an update, Inherit Skill will be added. Players will be able to pass down skills between units.

Rainy Frog bringing Mini Sports Collection to North America and Europe soon

Rainy Frog is localizing Mechanic Arms’ 3DS eShop game Mini Sports Collection. It’s due out on March 9 in America / Europe / Australia / New Zealand.
Mini Sports Collection has players competing for the best times and scores in twelve different sports. Tennis, Archery, Baseball, Wrestling, Hammer Throw, Table Tennis, Fencing, Skeet Shooting, Soccer, 100m Sprint, Rugby, and Speed Skating are included.
Here’s a brief overview and trailer:
“Mini Sports Collection focuses on the fun part of each sport throwing you straight into the heart of each one!
Bat in Baseball, shoot clay targets in Skeet Shooting, take down opponents in Wrestling, smash the ball in Tennis!Quick reflexes, fast button presses and accurate controls are required to make the highest rankings and succeed in 24 different achievements. Compete in solo events or try multiple event tournaments!”

Fully charged Switch estimated to use up just 2 percent of battery in sleep mode after eight hours

All sorts of sites have been coming through with Switch battery tests today. One of these is from Ars Technica, who examined how the system performs in sleep mode. After charging Switch to its fullest, the site noted that the battery drained to 98 percent after remaining in that mode for eight hours.
