Zoë Mode, in partnership with Activision, was once working on DJ Hero: After Party. The game was slated for Wii, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

DJ Hero: After Party was intended to be “an alternative approach to the formula”, according to Unseen64. A developer who worked on the project said that it “had a very different vibe to it than the other games”, with a more ” relaxed and laid back” vibe.

For whatever reason, Activision did not go further with DJ Hero: After Party and rejected the pitch in October 2009. However, the publisher held on to their concepts – some of which were used in DJ Hero 2.

This month’s issue of Nintendo Dream has a rather large interview with Eiji Aonuma, longtime producer of the Zelda series. While the Japanese magazine asked Aonuma about a variety of topics, Majora’s Mask was the main focus. Aonuma talked about the origins of the Majora and Termina names, the Mirror Shield’s connection to a mask owned by the Happy Mask Salesman, and more.

Marvelous’ latest update on PoPoLoCrois Farm Story give us a look at Matthew Village. View some new screenshots above, and information below (courtesy of Gematsu).

Areas

• Matthew Village – To save the world from the mysterious “Black Beast” that suddenly appeared, Prince Pietro heads towards the foreign country of Galariland. At the northernmost tip of the country, the Prince visits a small village called “Matthew Village,” where it snows all year round.
• Field Dungeon – Due to the dark power of the Black Beast, Sasha, a girl living in Matthew Village, is no longer able to produce crops. To return Sasha’s field to its original state, Prince Pietro must infiltrate the “Field Dungeon” where the Black Beast lurks.

Matthew Village Inhabitants

• Leila (voiced by Noto Mamiko) – A girl with a pure personality. She loves making things.
• Mairon (voiced by Muraoka Yoko) – Head of the village. He’s stubborn and not very welcoming of Prince Pietro and friends.

Kickstarter went through a bit of a lull in terms of projects including Wii U, but that’s changed over the past couple of weeks. There are now plenty of Nintendo-related indie projects that need your attention.

Sneaky Ninja – $10,000 for funding, includes Wii U
Spooky Poo’s Happy Hell – $13,666 for funding, Wii U stretch goal at $66,000
Nephil’s Fall – $10,000 for funding, includes Wii U
The Song of Seven : Chapter 1 – $8,000 for funding, includes Wii U
Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove – $400,000 for funding, dev eventually wants it on other platforms
