Bravery & Greed, beat ’em up dungeon brawler, heading to Switch

Team17 is teaming up with developer Rekka Games to publish Bravery & Greed on Switch, the company announced today. The title will be available later in 2022.
Bravery & Greed is a cooperative beat ’em up dungeon brawler with support for up to four players. It combines fantasy arcade gameplay with permadeath, roguelike elements, “and an insatiable objective of grabbing fistfuls of gold and treasure”.
Players can choose between four classes: the agile Rogue, the valiant Warrior, the eccentric Wizard, and the mighty Amazon. Each one has unique skills and abilities.
A number of game modes are planned, including Adventure Mode with a traditional campaign featuring a variety of environments and enemies for players to tackle. There’ll also be Horde Mode, which provides an increasing challenge with waves of unrelenting enemies. PvP modes are planned as well. Multiplayer supports both local and online play.
When it comes to combat in Bravery & Greed, players can parry, dodge, and juggle abilities to perform destructive spells on enemies, bosses, and even unsuspecting allies. Players can also find items in dungeons to equip, including gloves, boots, amulets, and wands. Items share affinities with four different paths in the game, and these paths offer up perks that affect gameplay. Once a path is chosen, the player is committed to it until death. Humanoid and animal followers can also be found in levels to fight alongside players.
