Capcom has already started to go big on Street Fighter’s 25th anniversary with a Collector’s Set, celebratory website, and other promotions.

However, it has practically forgotten about another important IP that will be hitting the same milestone. Along with Street Fighter, Mega Man will be turning 25 this year.

Fans will be delighted to hear that Capcom still has plans for the Blue Bomber’s 25th anniversary. The thing is, there probably won’t be any news until December,

Community manager Brett Elston and Seth Killian commented on the anniversary during an “Ask Capcom” Q&A event, noting:

“I feel like December’s a good time. It also gives us time to focus on Street Fighter’s 25th anniversary which is in August.

“But yeah, we’ll most likely have something to say about the anniversary in December. But as to what it is, we’re still discussing that. We had a meeting not long ago… very much happening inside those walls.”

Seth Killian also joked, “Yeah that’s right; stay out of our anniversary, Mega Man weirdos!”
