Rex Rocket has a decent shot of landing on the Wii U or 3DS. The game’s developer launched a Kickstarter (accessible here), where it states that the team has hopes to “bring Rex Rocket to Macs, iOS Devices, XBLIG, Wii U, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS and OUYA but we cannot guarantee them at this time.”
Atomhawk Design also has interest in working with the Wii U. Once its Kickstarter campaign for “The Realm” ends, it could look into a point-and-click adventure game for the platform.
Rumor: Nintendo to let 3DS owners repurchase Wii U VC games at a discount

If you have a Virtual Console game on your Wii U through Wii mode, you can repurchase it on the eShop at a significant discount. We’re now hearing that a similar program may be offered between Wii U VC and 3DS VC games.
According to a new article written by Emily Rogers, a VC game would need to have launched for both Wii U and 3DS in order to be eligible – as you would expect. Rogers also clarifies that not all titles would be included in the program.
When might we be hearing about this from Nintendo? Perhaps not at E3, but likely before year’s end.
Rogers has also reiterated rumors about a gifting feature for the Wii U eShop, which was first provided on the Wii Shop Channel. This element is coming not only due to requests from gamers, but indie developers as well.

Shantae also to be released on the 3DS VC in Australia and New Zealand
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News, Podcast Stories | 0 comments
We tend to lump Australia and New Zealand together with Europe when it comes to digital content, but it’s true that some titles don’t arrive in all regions at the same time. Fortunately, that’s not something that 3DS owners will have to worry about when it comes to the Virtual Console release of Shantae.
On Twitter, WayForward’s Matt Bozon confirmed that Australia and New Zealand will be receiving Shantae, likely on the same day as North America and Europe.
He tweeted:
Confirmed… Australia and New Zealand will get Shantae VC as well as North America and Europe.Should be same day, or very close.

Is Kokuga heading to the west? A rating from the USK is certainly pointing in that direction.
The German classification board has rated G.rev shooter. Interestingly, the company as listed as the game’s publisher. G.rev appears to be bringing Kokuga overseas itself, likely opting for an eShop release.
