Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
A new firmware update is available for the 3DS. As is the case with past upgrades, it does not provide any new functionality.
Nintendo’s website says that the update makes “improvements to overall system stability” which “enhance the user experience.”
Although it isn’t significant, the download must be applied if users wish to access the eShop.
New Capcom community specialist teases incoming Monster Hunter news
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
Capcom has a new community specialist. Yuri Araujo appears to have taken over for Seth Killian, who left his post for Sony Santa Monica a month ago.
Araujo’s presence at Capcom could be an important move for western Monster Hunter fans. Araujo says that he’s “a serious Monster Hunter fan from Brazil”.
Better yet, Araujo left a tease on Capcom-Unity that news relating to the series is coming “veeeeery soon”.
He wrote:
“I actually joined as a user specifically to inquire (read: complain) about the situation regarding Monster Hunter 2 (dos) Western release back in 2005/06 – so I know exactly how it feels to be lacking a new MH game for a while… patience is a virtue, right? Eventually it pays off somehow… we’ll have something veeeeery soon.”

It’s a bit tough to summarize seven pages of content, so we don’t have comprehensive summary like we usually do. However, a brief roundup of information has been posted below.

New Project X Zone characters include Mega Man Legends representation
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Mega Man Legends 3 was cancelled quite a long ago, but the series will be represented on the 3DS… sort of.
As is revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu, Tron Bonne and Servbot will join the roster for Project X Zone – Capcom, Namco Bandai, and SEGA’s crossover project for Nintendo’s handheld. Both characters are well-known for their appearances in the Mega Man Legends series.
Famitsu has other Project X Zone character confirmations as well. Bahn from Fighting Vipers along with Reiji Arisu and Xiaomu from Namco x Capcom will be playable.
