This information is based on data collected from the NPD Group through September 2011. Additional hardware sales will be provided on Thursday via the October report.

DS – Over 50,000,000 units
Wii – 36,514,494 units
Xbox 360 – 28,841,373 units
PS3 – 17,896,921 units
3DS – 1,417,000 units

Rumor: The Last Story, Fortune Street, and Inazuma Eleven 2: dates and name changes for Europe

Rumor has it that The Last Story will be seeing a slight name change in Europe. The game will apparently be called “The Last World” and will launch on February 24, 2012.

Additionally, it seems that Fortune Street will be titled “Boom Street”, with a release date set for January 5. The name change is backed up by a listing on the OFLC.

Last but not least, the same source claims that Inazuma Eleven 2 is coming to Europe sometime in January.

All of this information has yet to be confirmed. Hopefully Nintendo of Europe will provide official release dates before the end of the year.
