– Red gets a Dahak Mk2 mech early on
– The mech is a primary element in the game
– Red explores dungeons/towns, fights while in the mech
– Switch between Red in his mech, moving around on foot
– Red’s Dahak Mk2 mech is special
– His mech can do Type Changes
– Change the mech to match the situation
– Select “Custom” and then “Type Changes” from the main menu, then choose new type
– Dahak Mk2 Type S (DAHAK-AZI103 TYPE S): Basic Dahak Mk2 type, better fighting capabilities compared to a standard Dahak mech, Giant Swing special move (swings enemies for increased damage)
– Dahak Mk2 Type R (DAHAK-AZI103 TYPE R): Speed type, Hyper Dash special move (increases dash time, change direction in mid dash)
– Dahak Mk2 Type G (DAHAK-AZI103 TYPE G): Defense type, Protect Arm special move (halves damage, keeps you from being blown away)
– Dahak Mk2 Type C (DAHAK-AZI103 TYPE C): Catching things, “catch” specials, Wind Catcher move (grab enemies/items from afar)
– When Red is on his Dahak while in Trans form, the mech transforms to “Trans Up” form
– Trans Up form: Dahak Mk2 wraps around Red’s body, “Spark Javelin” move available (tosses energy sphere at the enemy)
– Can also customize your Dahak mech through the “Custom” option in the main menu
– Put special parts in your Dahak’s system panel, which changes its abilities
– Five parts: Attack (greater damage), defense (you take less damage), power (gauge rises quicker when lifting enemies), speed (move faster), recovery (recover some life when life hits 0)
– Can equip mech with airplane parts
– Equip these parts to participate in a special Aeroboard Grand Prix game (4 players wireless)
– Plane parts include the Aero Rider, Twin Nose and Rapid Edge
– Race on a variety of courses
– Crystals are placed throughout the courses
– Collect Crystals to build your boost gauge for an acceleration boost
– Can collect items to use in races
– Players earn a bonus when they reach the goal
– Special bonuses that cycle daily
– “Birthday” bonus, probably given to a player on his/her birthday
– Two part story
– Both stories on the same cart
– Second part has its own intro movie, also made by Mad House
