Wii Shop Channel, eShop down for maintenence

The Wii Shop Channel and the 3DS eShop have been temporarily closed. Both are undergoing maintenance at the moment.
The eShop should return later tonight/early tomorrow morning. I would assume that the Wii Shop Channel will be back up and running at the same time.
OFLC rates One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP2
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
The OFLC has brought along not one, but two interesting ratings today.
Unfortunately, the second listing is a bit of a downer. It seems that Namco Bandai will be selling One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP2 in Europe for the full price of a 3DS game.
Why is this a problem? In Japan, One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP wasn’t chopped up into two separate games. The package included both Wii ports of the One Piece: Unlimited Cruise. For the European version, however, Namco Bandai only added in the first title because of 3DS card size issues relating to the inclusion of five different languages.
Basically, whereas Japanese consumers paid for one complete games, it looks like European 3DS owners will be forced to dish out another round of cash for the second One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP port.

Rumor: Epic Mickey 2: Power of Illusion in the works for the 3DS
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, Rumors | 0 comments
We’ve been hearing lots of gossip about Epic Mickey 2 being made for the Wii (possibly Wii U as well), PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. According to the latest speculation, though, there’s also a “companion” game of sorts in the works for the 3DS.
Not much is known about the rumored project. Nintendo Magazine France says that it will contain 2D elements, but this hasn’t been confirmed.
If this is the real deal, we may hear about it on this week’s GameTrailers TV episode, Nintendo Power, or Disney’s upcoming conference.
Europe getting some sort of Kid Icarus: Uprising AR card pack
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
I’m not entirely sure what this is. It could be a pre-order bonus for a European territory, or perhaps NoE will be selling AR card packs on a regular basis.
The photo above comes from a Masahiro Sakurai tweet, so maybe he’ll be willing to share more information soon.
