It’s been a long time coming, but Inazuma Eleven will finally be released in Europe early next year. Yep – this is the first title for the DS. There’s a lot of catching up to do!

Nintendo will be releasing the title on January 28, 2011. At this point, there doesn’t seem to be an announcement in English. I’m assuming that the game will be released in all territories, however, as English screenshots have been released. Hopefully North America will receive a similar announcement soon.

“I’m really sorry that I can’t offer any details on the future of the series. We would like to consider the possibility of sequels by assessing the feedback from fans and players.”

Well, I know of an interesting, new Nintendo handheld that will be released in a few months. Might Camelot consider making another Golden Sun for the 3DS? I hope so!
