If you were to ask gaming enthusiasts about the Wii U’s release date, most would probably tell you that the console will launch in November. SEGA may have just confirmed this on its own.

In a press release detailing Wreck-It Ralph’s inclusion in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, the company wrote that the game “will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo’s Wii U, and Windows PC Digital Download this November.”

So the question is, has SEGA confirmed a November release for Wii U? That’s just a rumor for now. After all, it may have been nothing more than an error on SEGA’s part.

While it’s widely expected that November is indeed the launch month, Nintendo has only said that the console is due out Holiday 2012. We’ll be getting concrete information in early fall.

You may know Firebrand Games as the studio behind Trackmania Wii/DS. The developer seems keen on supporting Wii U with its Octane technology, described by the company as something “that encompasses a full development pipeline and tool chain as well as a highly developed game engine.”

Firebrand says its Octane 5 tech is “coming shortly” to Nintendo’s new console. Once everything is worked out, maybe we’ll see a new Wii U game from the studio.

Namco Bandai is working on a game based on the Grandpa Danger manga. A teaser trailer – shown above – was released not too long ago. You can find the title’s website here.

A new Dragon Ball game may be in the works for the 3DS. GAME UK lists “Dragonball 3D” for Nintendo’s handheld.

The retailer offers a very short description of the title. GAME UK states:

“Dragon Ball kicks into 3D with all new features and gameplay designed for the Nintendo 3DS hardware.”

Thus far, Dragon Ball hasn’t made it onto the 3DS. But given how many games made it out on the system’s predecessor, it’s only a matter of time before we see the franchise on the handheld.
