There at least a couple of additions to the 3DS version of Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. The latest issue of Famitsu reports that the game will feature thirty new demons and StreetPass support.

Players will be able to see the Nemecchi demon evolve through StreetPass. It’ll start off as a wisp-looking creature, but once it levels up, it’ll transform into a cat-like being.

Even though Crytek doesn’t have a game in development for Wii U, the company still has high praise for the console. CEO Cevat Yerli had some very nice things to say about its power and the hardware overall while speaking with CVG.

When discussing Wii U, Yerli explained the reasoning as to why the studio isn’t working on the platform directly. He also teased a mystery title “from a respected developer that we will be announcing.” This project is apparently running on CryEngine 3.

Yerli said:

It was rather odd seeing a lack of Japanese Wii U games at E3 2012. That doesn’t mean that Japanese developers aren’t interested in the system, however.

Famitsu interviewed a number of high-profile creators in its latest issue, including Yoshinori Ono, Suda 51 (who had promised No More Heroes 3 for Nintendo’s new console a few years ago!), Keiji Inafune, Akihiro Hino, and more. Head past the break to see what they had to say about the system.
