Screenshots of New Super Mario Bros. Wii in 720p

Being able to see Wii games displayed in 720p isn’t exactly a new idea thanks to the Dolphin emulator. Previously, we’ve shared screenshots of Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition and Dead Space Extraction in the different video resolution. Yet, even though Wii titles have been presented in 720p in the past, these shots of New Super Mario Bros. Wii look fantastic. You can check them out below.
SEGA currently has no plans to release 7th Dragon outside of Japan

“To my knowledge there’s no plans to bring 7th Dragon westward at this present time I’m afraid. But never say never.” – SEGA’s official Twitter
It’d be a shame if 7th Dragon never made it outside of Japan. Although the DS has a number of RPGs, I really like the style of the game. Hopefully it’ll release in other territories sometime in the future.

Aonuma on the possibility of remaking Ocarina of Time, other Zelda games
Posted on 15 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 14 Comments
Even though Ocarina of Time is currently available in many different forms, some players have asked for there to be a remake of the title. A number of fans wish for there to be a portable version for the DS while others are more interested in playing the game on Wii. But how does Eiji Aonuma feel about remaking the game? Well, he addressed the possibility of remaking Ocarina – in addition to other games in the series – in a recent interview.
“Well, I sometimes hear such requests from people who want to play Ocarina of Time on Wii, they ask us to remake it and take advantage of Wii technology. Whenever we have to think about the remake, we have to also think about the background, especially what kind of situation, what kind of period and time that previous game was played in, because be it Ocarina of Time or any other games, whenever they say they want to have a remake on whichever platform, they have some emotional attachment from playing that game at that particular time or environment.
That sort of background is always there when they talk about or request the remake of a game. We cannot afford to destroy that kind of emotional attachment. Still, even if we are going to take advantage of the improved technology, we have to have some breakthrough in the gameplay. That combination is not an easy one. Whenever we talk about this breakthrough technology, we come up with ideas that we would like to incorporate into the new Zelda franchise. So that’s the current situation and that’s the reason why we are not very aggressive in exploring the possibility of remaking the past Zelda series. If I can think of how do it, or any other inspiration comes to me, without destroying the emotional attachment people have to the past game, and I can make some great innovation or renovation on the remake, then I might be able to think about it further.”
