Among the latest downloadable games from Nintendo is BIT.TRIP VOID, a riveting new installment in the extraordinary retro-arcade series for the WiiWare™ service. You’ll also find some remarkable kid-friendly fare on WiiWare this week, including the immersive Harvest Moon®: My Little Shop. Race-loving Mario™ fans will thrill to see the original Super Mario Kart™ make its Virtual Console™ debut alongside the imaginative A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia. The Nintendo DSiWare™ service welcomes Castle Of Magic – featuring some inventive uses for the Nintendo DSi™ system’s built-in cameras – as well as five delightful additions to the Electroplankton™ series. No doubt, the variety and value found on the Wii Shop Channel and Nintendo DSi Shop are enough to keep holiday consumers energized through Black Friday and beyond.
An interview with the Frobot developers
Posted on 16 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Features, Wii | 3 Comments
Over the past week or so, Valay and I have had the pleasure of getting some of our questions answered by the guys over at Fugazo regarding their upcoming WiiWare title, Frobot. For those that aren’t familiar with the game, Frobot can be summed up best by reading a snippet from the press release issued by Fugazo a few months back; Imagine if Wii Tanks and The Legend of Zelda had a baby. That baby’s name would be Frobot. Taking inspiration from two fantastic titles and throwing them together with a spike of funk? Sounds like a great plan to me! Check out the full interview after the break!

Aonuma would have liked MotionPlus available for Twilight Princess
Posted on 16 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 5 Comments
Both Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma have stated countless times that the next Zelda game will incorporate Wii MotionPlus. Twilight Princess, however, simply utilized the capabilities of the Wii remote and nothing more. In an interview with GameSpot, Aonuma discussed the peripheral and said that he wishes MotionPlus was available a long time ago, perhaps so that the development team could have implemented the technology in Twilight Princess.
“All I can say right now is that, yes, we are well in the progress in development right now and as Mr. Miyamoto has already stated, we are going to use the Wii MotionPlus. It’s actually perfectly matched…I wish we could have gotten that a long time ago. Even when we look at Twilight Princess right now, we have to feel that we should have that kind of Wii MotionPlus. It was that natural feeling we have already established in development. So I hope that people are going to be looking forward to the launch.”
