Amazon has Tekken Tag Tournament 2: Wii U Edition on sale for $23.99. The game originally launched at $59.99, and has costed $40 as of late. You’ll save $16 (or 40%) compared to the most-recent price.

Nintendo and Atlus haven’t shared much about its Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem crossover title for Wii U. A teaser trailer was shown during the January Nintendo Direct, but that’s all, and the game hasn’t been seen since.

Nintendo’s Hitoshi Yamagami did reconfirm one nugget about Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem while speaking with Hobby Consolas. According to Yamagami, the game will take place in a modern world.

He said:

“For a long time, I wanted to create a FE on ours times, on the real world. Imagine a Pegasus that comes from the sky and lands on the Building 109 of Shibuya, Tokyo. I always though that would be incredible. At the same time, I know it’s hard because of how FE is. I visited many companies to express these ideas. When I went to Atlus, I was told that Shin Megami Tensei together with Fire Emblem is what I wanted. So, I soon said that to Intelligent Systems and started this very special collaboration. Oops! I shouldn’t say that the game takes place in the real world. We haven’t announced it, right?”

A “Game of the Year Edition” listing for Injustice: Gods Among Us has popped up on Amazon France. It has since been removed, but originally mentioned the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC, and PlayStation Vita as intended platforms for release.

One would think that the package would include all of Injustice’s DLC. Keep in mind, however, that no official announcement has been made at this time.

Scirra’s Construct 2 engine allows for games to be made across a whole bunch of different hardware. PC, iOS, and Android are just a few of the supported systems.

Construct 2 is now relevant to Nintendo, as news has spread today that the company has reached out to Scirra. Specifics regarding the conversation are unknown, but it could be a pretty big deal to have Construct 2 working on Wii U.
