Samurai Warriors 3 has quite a bit of buzz surrounding its release. The game is getting its own Classic Controller and now there’s a rumor that the game may feature online functionality.

A leaked retailer listing from GMstar points to online co-op play in Samurai Warriors 3. The game is “Set to include network functionality like cooperative play and download content” according to the listing, which also makes note of edit and Nazo no Mura Samejou modes and 35 playable characters. The edit/Nazo no Mura Samejou modes is 100% confirmed, but we’ll have to wait and see if Koei confirms the online speculation.
