The Royal ‘Wii’ is delivered to Buckingham Palace
HRH The Queen of England received an unusual surprise today as a gold-plated Wii was delivered to Buckingham Palace.
Finished in gold, the unique Wii console was specially commissioned for the Royal Family to mark today’s launch of brand new Wii game BIG Family Games – the perfect game for all the family to play together from publisher THQ Inc.
As the UK’s ultimate family, the Royals also received one of the first copies of BIG Family Games to road-test their shiny new console.

I think people will be pleasantly surprised that we’re leaving a lot of it in tact and we’re not [messing] with it so much. I know a lot of you were pretty surprised (myself included) when XSEED said that they were no longer the published of Muramasa. However, it seems as though Ignition is doing more than a respectable job with localizing the title.

Accessible Lord of the Rings title in development for Wii

“The Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest is the first Lord of the Rings videogame created specifically for kids and their families with accessible gameplay set in a friendly, colorful rendition of Middle-Earth. Players assume the role of Strider and embark on his greatest quests from The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The game offers authentic, action-oriented sword fighting, lancing and archery that all ages can play together.”
This little blurb was found on a list send out by the ESA. Warner Bros. Interactive. will be publishing the project and more information is expected when E3 kicks off next month.
