These screenshots show off Faron Woods and one of the dungeons we’ve seen previously through demo footage. Unfortunately, the images are somewhat small. If I come across larger screenshots I’ll update this post.

Time for more Japanese Nintendo hardware news! This time around, we have an update on the Wii Remote Plus controller.

A bundle will be offered in November that includes two controllers. The package will cost 5,800 yen. One Wii Remote Plus controller alone is worth 3,800 yen, so you can end up saving quite a bit.

IGN has posted a “Rewind Theater” feature that covers the combat trailer shared by Nintendo last week. The video apparently confirms a couple of elements.

First, there is a left-handed mode in the game. You’ll be asked at the start if you’re left-handed or right-handed. If you choose the lefty mode, obviously that means you’ll have the Wiimote in your left hand while the nunchuck will be held in your right hand.

IGN also claims that Link will have six hearts at his disposal when Skyward Sword kicks off. This has never been seen in a Zelda release. The decision behind this is most likely related to the fact that enemies are tougher and now dish out more damage than ever before.

A new batch of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword details are now available. The information, found in the latest Nintendo Power, details elements from the Skyloft introduction all the way up to the Earth Temple.

There’s some juicy points that at least some of you may want to avoid, so I’ll be posting the content after the break once again.

Can you spot the Super Mario Galaxy levels in these screenshots?
