Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 0 comments
Triple Shot Sports is the most advanced recreational shooting game available on WiiWare, immersing the player in the world of competitive target shooting. Release date March 15th 2010 and will cost 500 points.
Most Olympic events consist of activities that are traditionally derived from hunting and combat skills. Over time these practice’s have evolved into a variety of competitive sports that include, Archery, Pistol Shooting and Free Rifle.
As with real life shooting events you have full control over the aim of the weapon. You must also take into account the prevailing weather conditions and the athlete’s breathing pattern as these can both influence the accuracy of the shot.

We are pleased to announce during this week’s Mega Man 10 launch that the rumors are true! Mega Man 10 does indeed have an additional character you can play as, and that character is Bass! On April 5 th, users can download Bass for 200 Wii points.
Dr. Wily designed Bass with Mega Man’s abilities in mind. Of course there’s a bitter rivalry between the two, although Bass will help Mega Man out if he sees a benefit for himself.

Bloom Blox dev team partially dismantled
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 0 comments
“This is a routine event and not in any way related to EA’s announced restructuring. Moving projects to leverage development strengths is common in global studio organizations. In this case, a small project has been moved from EA Los Angeles, to the EA Bright Light Studio in Guildford, UK, where the Harry Potter franchise and several of the Hasbro properties are developed. A small number of employees were impacted by the decision. All eligible employees will receive severance and outplacement assistance. EA remains fully committed to maintaining its EALA studio which is the headquarters for the mobile division as well as for development of franchises like Medal of Honor, Command & Conquer and others.” – EA spokesperson
“Jeff Dixon Has [sic] joined the ranks of the EALA departed. The Boom Blox team was laid off today.” – LinkedIn profile of Jeff Dixon, previously senior software engineer at EALA
According to Dixon, fourteen employees were let go. Unfortunately, It looks like if there’s another Bloom Blox title, it’ll be from a different studio. Or, at the very least, it won’t be from some of the same talent that created the first two games.
