The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that Yoko Shimomura is the composer for Xenoblade. Shimomura’s body of work is quite impressive. She has worked on the Kingdom Hearts series, Mario RPG series, Little King’s Story, and countless other titles. Knowing this, and after hearing the song on Xenoblade’s teaser site, the game’s full soundtrack should be worth listening to.

Although North American gamers know that they will be able to play Metroid: Other M on June 27, our friends in Europe have been left without a release date. The only thing Nintendo has said is that the game will launch in Q3 of this year. While European gamers continue to wait on a firm date, sources close to Wii-DS.nl claim that the title will be available on July 16. This should definitely be considered a rumor at the moment, but keep in mind that the release dates for Mario Kart Wii and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn were accurately predicted in the past.
