Capcom to continue developing and publishing software across all platforms
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 5 Comments
Earlier this week, Antoine Seux from Capcom’s French division told Gamekult that “the future is the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.” Capcom wasn’t entirely pleased with that comment and therefore has released a general statement in response.
“Further to comments made in a recent article on French website Gamekult, Capcom would like to confirm its commitment as a multi-platform developer and publisher of interactive software.”
Suda 51 like you’ve never seen him before…Dancing to a Ubisoft title
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 3 Comments
Most gamers probably associate Suda 51 with creating the No More Heroes franchise. While Marvelous Entertainment and Spike took charge of publishing the first No More Heroes in Japan, Ubisoft handled the title in North America.
Now Suda 51 is helping Ubisoft out a bit by promoting Just Dance. That’s right – you can watch Suda 51 talk about his experience with the game and more importantly, you can watch him dance a little!

Endless Ocean 2 dated for Europe
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii | 2 Comments
Enter into a new marine adventure as you explore uncharted underwater realms brought beautifully to life in the stunningly realistic Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep, which launches on Wii across Europe on 5 February 2010.
Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep offers six new ocean locations to explore. Plunge into the icy Arctic waters or explore the sunken wrecks in the Aegean Sea and, for the first time, venture into rivers such as the mysterious Brazilian Amazon to discover a vast array of freshwater wildlife. You can even step ashore onto dry land to encounter birds and other non-aquatic wildlife.

Capcom: Dead Rising Wii sales are decent, “demake-esque” title on the way
Posted on 14 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News, Wii | 8 Comments
“I’m preaching to the choir on this one, but Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop definitely got a bad rap. If you stop counting the number of zombies on the screen and just play, you’ll have some fun. People couldn’t help comparing it to the X360 game, which I can understand, but it did okay at retail, so I’d put this in a grey area.” – Seth Killian, Capcom’s Senior Manager of Community
“… (I’m) happy to say there’s something else distinctly demake-esque coming soon. Of course, there’s also Mega Man 10, which isn’t so much a demake as a straight up high-five to the joys of classic gaming…” – Seth Killian, Capcom’s Senior Manager of Community
Mr. Killian had a few other things to say as well. Capcom will be busy with retro revivals, remakes, new IPs, and possibly new hardcore Wii titles this year. Additionally, the company is working on a surprising motion control project that Killian believes “nobody will see coming,” although it may not be Nintendo related.
