“We cancelled a new sports game utilising Wii MotionPlus. Even through we have more ideas we can’t give too much away as they may still materialise one day.” – director Keita Eto

Wow, I’m quite surprised by this news. Skip has mainly been developing games in the Art Style series, of course. So I wouldn’t expect to hear that they were working on a MotionPlus sports game for Wii.

ROCK BAND ADDS MORE WEEZER!

LIMP BIZKIT AND YELLOWCARD MAKE ROCK BAND DEBUT IN “GUYS WHO ROCK” DLC FEATURED IN LEGO® ROCK BAND

Cambridge, Mass. – Dec. 18, 2009 – Harmonix and MTV Games today announced that a three pack of songs from Weezer, as well as singles from Limp Bizkit, Yellowcard and The Offspring will be added next week to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Wii™.
