Zelda character makes cameo appearance in Skyward Sword

There’s a well-known character in the Zelda franchise who makes an appearance in Skyward Sword. However, the character isn’t actually in the game… it’s more of an Easter egg I suppose! Have I confused you yet?

The firmware update included with Super Mario 3D Land brought a change to the system’s Friend List. After applying the upgrade, players are given the ability to join another person’s game. Mario Kart 7 appears to be the first release to take advantage of this feature – you can see the first footage of it above.
