Wii U

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut is now official. Square Enix officially confirmed the game for Wii U today.

Director’s Cut is an exclusive to Wii U, Square Enix says. It’ll make use of the GamePad in a variety of different ways “including touch-screen hacking, interactive map editing, augmented sniping, grenade throwbacks and many other neural hub enhancements.” There is also “in-depth Miiverse integration” planned as well as “access to developer commentaries and in-game guides.”

Director’s Cut will also feature “overhauled boss fights, refined game balance and combat, improved AI, and striking visual improvements”. Human Revolution’s full Missing Link chapter and Tong’s Rescue mission have “been integrated seamlessly into the narrative flow of the Director’s Cut.”

Square Enix has not provided a release date for Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut. A first look will be shown at PAX East this week.

Having problems finding LEGO City: Undercover? That could be because the game has been seeing shipping issues much like Fire Emblem: Awakening last month. Some retailers are counting on stock arriving later this week.

Of course, LEGO City is already out at some retailers and you should have a decent shot at finding the game. You could also opt to purchase the Wii U title through the eShop.

Along with Need for Speed: Most Wanted, EA has discounted three other Wii U titles on Origin. Mass Effect 3 Special Edition, FIFA 13, and Madden NFL 13 are also on sale. Each is priced at $29.99 plus tax. Free shipping is included.

This week’s GameStop ad has gone live. Highlights include $10 off The Amazing Spider-Man Ultimate Edition.

Might the Wii U version of Dragon Quest X be making its way overseas? A listing from one retailer seems to be pointing in that direction.

An entry for Square Enix’s RPG has been discovered on Amazon France. A release date isn’t listed, but the product page does sport a PEGI 12 rating.

Keep in mind that this latest finding shouldn’t be taken as a confirmation that Dragon Quest X will be released in the west. Amazon France has listed some pretty crazy things in the past such as Kid Icarus: Uprising for Wii U.
