Cambridge, Mass. – October 28th, 2011 – Harmonix today announced that a 3-pack from Breaking Benjamin and a single from Papa Roach will be available beginning November 1st in the Rock Band 3 Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Wii™.

Rock Band provides the deepest and best selection of artists, songs and albums through the Rock Band music platform, which features more than 900 artists and more than 3,000* tracks via disc and download purchase (complete list of tracks at www.rockband.com/songs). Rock Band’s gigantic music library dwarfs that of any other rhythm video game on the market. More than 100 million songs have been sold through the Rock Band Music Store since its launch on Nov. 20, 2007.

On this week’s episode: Kirby’s Return to Dreamland, Pokemon Rumble Blast, James Noir’s Hollywood Crimes and Pokemon Rumble Blast at NYCC.


Rhythm Heaven Wii will have a new title in North America. Nintendo’s latest financial report indicates that it will be called “Rhythem Heaven Fever”. I have no idea if that’s a typo, since “Rhythm” is spelled incorrectly…

In any case, North American Wii owners can look forward to the game sometime next year. Although its release date is listed as “TBA”, one one think that Nintendo will launch the title before the Wii U arrives.

Hey, the Wii Virtual Console isn’t dead… kind of. Nintendo needs to get things going in North America and Europe again!


Nintendo has revealed more details about the captivating areas, items and game play in the massive The Legend of Zelda™: Skyward Sword game, launching exclusively for the Wii™ system on Nov. 20. This week, Link™ continues his epic quest and travels back to the Eldin Volcano as additional discoveries have uncovered new portions of the map. Players will dig the new items and find a new way to traverse through this area. Newly revealed game elements include the following:

• Return to the Eldin Volcano and the Fire Sanctuary: Link travels back to this volcanic area to journey into the Fire Sanctuary, a dungeon that sits on top of the volcano’s summit.
