Nintendo wants to ensure that their fans are aware of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition. That’s why Eiji Aonuma sent out a SpotPass notification to 3DS owners recently. Along with a message on Four Swords, Aonuma also mentioned that he hopes fans will purchase Zelda: Skyward Sword in November.

Aonuma’s lengthy notification:

Hello everyone,

This is Eiji Aonuma, the producer of the Zelda series at Nintendo. I hope you will all go to the Nintendo eShop and download The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition, which is one of the titles in our Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary celebration. The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition is a powered-up version of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords for Game Boy Advance, the first multiplayer game in the Zelda series.

It is a free download game to everyone who has a Nintendo 3DS, a Nintendo DSi, or a Nintendo DSi XL!
