Nintendo is launching the black Wii Fit Plus software bundle on 7th October 2011, the perfect gift for fitness fanatics this Christmas. The bundle includes a copy of Wii Fit Plus and a black Wii Balance Board.

Wii Fit Plus is a workout for both body and mind from the comfort of your own living room. Packed with over 60 activities including 15 balance games and six strength training and yoga-based activities, you can work out, relax and ease away the stresses of daily life. You can also customise your fitness routines to make your at-home training regime easier – and there’s even a calorie counter to make reaching your targets more measureable.

Kirby’s Return to Dreamland was originally scheduled for a December release in Europe, but it’s now been given an official November 25 date. And in case you’re wondering, it’ll be called “Kirby’s Adventure Wii”.

28th September 2011 – Transport you and your family to Planet PopStar for some side-scrolling, platform fun when Kirby’s Adventure Wii launches for Wii on 25th November.

When an alien spaceship crashes on the peaceful Planet PopStar, its pieces are scattered throughout the land. Guide Kirby as he retrieves the ship’s parts and helps the aliens return to their home planet. Meet Kirby’s friends Meta Knight, King Dedede and Waddle Dee and help him to use his powerful Copy Ability to inhale, spit or transform his way to victory this Christmas.

Do you have any interest in R-Type? If you do, you should consider purchasing the title. Like right about now. There’s only three days left to download the classic from the Wii Virtual Console service, as SEGA will be removing it on Friday.

SEGA posted on their blog today:

“If you own a Nintendo Wii and you’re at all a fan of fast-paced, old-school arcade action, take note! This is your last chance to pick up R-Type: the game is being removed from the Virtual Console store this September 30th.”

I believe R-Type should set you back around 500 points. All things considered, that price isn’t too bad. It’s a fairly good game!
