Fantasy endless shooter Air Twister coming to Switch

Original (6/26): Air Twister was previously released on Apple Arcade, but it’s now making the jump to various platforms including Switch. It’s due out on November 10, 2023.

Air Twister, a fantasy endless shooter, was originally made by Ys Net and Yu Suzuki. The studio is perhaps best known for having developed Shenmue III.

Soar through the sky battling against invaders in this all-new fantasy endless shooter from legendary game creator, Yu Suzuki. Players will assume the role of Princess Arch fighting back against bizarre invaders to save their planet from destruction. They’ll rain down their homing arrows to trace graceful arcs of light across beautiful, artfully crafted stages, before they pierce their foes. With a fun and easy touchscreen swipe-shooting gameplay mechanic, the destiny of the planet is in the player’s hands.

The game has thus far been confirmed for physical and digital release in Japan. ININ Games always launches its games globally, and we’re expecting the same here. We’ll follow up with more information as it’s announced.


Update (6/27): Air Twister has been officially announced for the west as well with the same November 10 release date. Both physical and digital launch is planned. We’ve also swapped the trailer above with an English version.
