[Let’s Talk] April 2024 Indie World Showcase reactions
Another Indie World Showcase aired this week with a new wave of announcements for Switch. There were some reveals, shadowdrops, demos, and more.
SteamWorld Heist II was arguably the biggest news of the show which closed out the presentation. Other games such as Yars Rising, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, Europa, and Valley Peaks were announced for Switch. Sticky Business and Stitch were revealed as well, but they actually came out that same day. You can find the full recap of everything shown here.
What was your personal highlight (or highlights) from the latest Indie World event? Let us know in the comments.
Highlights from last week’s topic: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Switch features

There’s a near split second scene in the trailer where “Tattle Check” is shown as a button prompt at the bottom of the screen. I can only hope that means that Tattle will no longer be an attack that uses up Goombella’s turn, and to go even further, that the “collection” aspect of Tattles is removed and all are available at any time without issue, maybe even without Goombella being the current partner in combat. Although, it could easily just be rechecking previously obtained Tattles, which would be rather disappointing but still somewhat useful, especially to new players who need to remember strengths and weaknesses.
Aside from that I’m just hoping that there’s some kind of jukebox that lets you listen to music from the game, like later Paper Mario games had.

I believe there will be an Easy mode and a Regular mode. In the trailer, we see the command for Yoshi’s Stampede attack doesn’t require as many L & R presses as before. I think this is because, there will be an Easy mode.
