Level-5 may very well have intentions to localize Fantasy Life for western markets. A trademark for the 3DS game in Europe was filed in Europe, possibility hinting at an overseas release.
If Fantasy Life does in fact head overseas, it’ll be interesting to see which publisher distributes the title. Will Level-5 handle publishing duties itself? Or will it team up with another company?
