My Nintendo offering double Gold Points for Smash Bros. Ultimate and DLC

A new offer has just started on My Nintendo for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. If you buy the game or select DLC, you’ll receive double the Gold Points.

Note that the offer only applies to purchases made through the eShop or Nintendo.com. It works with the main game, Fighters Pass, and Fighters Pass Vol. 2. Additionally, it’s compatible with any of the characters released thus far: Piranha Plant, Joker, Hero, Banjo & Kazooie, Terry, Byleth, Min Min, Steve & Alex, Sephiroth, Pyra/Mythra, and Kazuya. Mii Fighter costumes do not appear to be eligible.

Nintendo just announced today that Sora from Kingdom Hearts is joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The final DLC character is set to go live on October 18, along with the latest wave of Mii Fighter costumes. That’s it for the game as no further DLC is left to reveal. However, we’ll continue to see amiibo in the months ahead, including Steve and Alex, Min Min, Sephiroth, Pyra, Mythra, and Kazuya.

The My Nintendo offer for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the DLC ends on October 24 at 11:59 PM PT / October 25 at 2:59 AM ET. For those in Europe, this deal should be available to you as well.
