NPD to stop releasing sales numbers

In an announcement that has succeeded in destroying everything gamers hold dear, NPD announced that they will no longer release monthly sales figures for games and consoles, instead limiting it to a list of Top 10 software and Top 5 hardware, with no specific numbers attached to the lists.
The end is nigh! How will we know who’s winning the console wars and by how much!?
