Original (8/5): Bandai Namco has created an official graphics comparison trailer for Pac-Man World Re-Pac.
The original game launched for the PlayStation in 1999, and needless to say that technology has evolved since then. Bandai Namco has gone back to the drawing board and reworked the visuals in many different ways, including the character models, environments, and textures.
Here’s the graphics comparison trailer for Pac-Man World Re-Pac:
Pac-Man World Re-Pac will have more than just spruced up visuals. The UI has been improved, the mechanics have been fine-tuned, and more.
The game itself is a 3D platformer that take place on Ghost Island. Pac-Man arrives home on his birthday and discovers that the Ghosts have kidnapped his family and friends, so he goes on a rescue mission. Players will dodge Ghosts, solve environmental puzzles, and more leading up to the final fight against Toc-Man.
Pac-Man World Re-Pac launches for Switch on August 26, 2022. You can find another graphics comparison for the title here.
